i don't know if this is the right catagory...i'll have to check later. if you've ever read a Clockwork Orange theres a good chance that you'll get this peice.

Very nicely done. Is the texture on the cogs there also done with salt, or is that just ink and coffee work? I've only played around with neat effects like that now and then in art classes.

A Clockwork Orange is a wonderful book. I think it's interesting that you're contrasting the machinery with a skull as opposed to living organic manner; it makes the ethical wrongness going on in the novel seem that much more oppressive and somehow inevitable. Plus it's just a well-detailed skull to begin with.
